Gone Mac

Our main desktop machine died last week. Power supply failure, I’d guess from the symptoms. All the backups fully up to date and the drives readable from another machine anyway, so no drama. Actually an opportunity to buy a nice, shiny new machine! You can tell I’m a bloke, can’t you.

I had been flirting with the dark side for a few months with my Macbook Pro laptop, and decided to take the plunge and ‘go Mac’ with the main machine too. All now set up (pretty much) and working great.

Looks nice and shiny too…

Robert, Having "gone Mac," nervously a few years ago - while my wife stays on the dark side - I never looked back. They don't crash, get viruses and applications I have or download work and work together. Wish I'd done it years and years ago. In fact, our firm my go Pro given the travel we do and links to banks and clients for transactions are easier with Mac's and they work in every country we go to without fail. Bought my wife a Sony - crap. Barely connects to the printer! Buy a wi-fi for the house, awesome!

I'd been tempted for a while, but now being able to dual boot for the occasion when I still need Windows was the final trigger. Kids still on Windows, since that is what they need to use at school.
